NANCY GIVENS, CPA

Nancy Givens is a managing member of Givens & Siegel LLC. She practices with a focus on businesses, including business valuations, business consulting, business management, technology and taxes.

With more than 20 years experience in accounting, consulting and technology, Nancy has an extensive depth of knowledge and expertise. Nancy holds certificates as a certified public accountant in the state of Florida, as well as certificates as a financial planner, valuation analyst, microsoft system engineer, and QuickBooks ProAdvisor.

Nancy received her BA in Business Administration from the University of South Florida and her Masters of Education-Technology also from the University of South Florida She has practiced public accounting since 1986. Prior to that time, she was the controller for the News-Press.

Nancy Givens has the business, communication and technical skills that allow her to provide quality, professional CPA consulting services to her clients. She is adept at getting a business owner focused on the important tasks needed to be successful. She is the voice and ears of reasonableness and helps others be better by revealing relevant factors for good decision making. Nancy has a genuine concern for working with her clients to solve problems in an atmosphere of respect and trust.

BARBARA B. SIEGEL, CPA

Barbara Siegel is a managing member of Givens & Siegel LLC. She practices with a focus on individuals and businesses, including personal and business consulting, taxes and life and crisis management.

Barbara has varied and extensive experience in accounting and consulting as well as education and community leadership. Barbara holds certificates as a certified public accountant in the state of Florida, and life teacher's certification in business education and psychology. She serves her community on numerous nonprofit boards with an emphasis on education and health.

A Phi Beta Kappa graduate from the University of Wisconsin, Barbara completed masters accounting coursework at the University of Florida. She has practiced public accounting in Lee County since 1986. Concurrently, she was controller for Associates in Pulmonary Medicine and previously taught accounting in the Florida community college system.

Barbara Siegel has the unique qualifications of being a CPA, a business controller, an educator and a community leader. This gives her the ability to integrate her financial expertise with her interpersonal and communication skills to help individuals and businesses make quality decisions regarding money and finances. She understands the challenges of helping people make and preserve wealth and creates a caring environment of mutual respect, privacy and trust. Barbara excels at helping people take control of their lives to achieve success in both good and difficult times.
